More than three-quarters would choose a million dollars over looking like the Friends star, according to a new survey.
The online poll by Woman's Day magazine and AOL Body asked 6,905 women questions about their body-image and health-care concerns.
More than half [57 percent] said they considered themselves overweight, almost a third [30 percent] admitted feeling "uncomfortable and ashamed" about their bodies, and almost one in four [37 percent] said their fondest wish was "to be thinner."
The magazine asked its readers: "If you could choose, would you rather have Jennifer Aniston's physique or be a millionaire?"
"I'd rather have the money," declared more than three-quarters [78 percent] of the respondents, while the remaining quarter [22 percent] said they'd like to "look like Jennifer."
Jane Chestnutt, the editor-in-chief of Woman's Day, said: "[They] want to have their cake and eat it, too.
"They're probably thinking, 'I'll take the million dollars, I'll use part of it to pay a trainer to get me into shape, and I'll have some money left over.'"
AOL Body health editor Tanya Mancini said she believes they selected Aniston because the toned actress "is in great shape [but is] not someone who looks like they starve themselves."
Meanwhile fewer than one in 10 women [eight percent] said they exercised regularly.
Tanya Mancini told the New York Post: "Overall, I think it shows women know they're overweight but are not ready to deal with it.
"There are a lot of mental issues to do with weight loss as opposed to just physical."
The survey also examined which TV doctors set hearts racing.
Asked which onscreen medic "would you most like to visit," almost a third [31 percent] voted for Patrick Dempsey, Dr McDreamy of Grey's Anatomy.
And more than a quarter [28 percent] said they would want House star Hugh Laurie, to make a house call.
The findings are published in the magazine's February 12 issue, which hits newsstands Tuesday.
