Britney Spears will be able to speak to her kids on the telephone, according to court papers released Monday.
Spears, 26, is now allowed to talk to sons Sean Preston, 2 and Jayden James, 1, on the phone, after a US judge ruled that Britney can have telephonic contact with her kids at last week's (23 January) hearing.
However, Britney will still not be able to see her children; Commissioner Scott Gordon ruled, "all prior orders remain in full force and effect," denying the star physical contact with her sons.
Britney's boys are currently living with Kevin Federline, after she was stripped of custody and ordered to take random drug tests.
Britney Spears had her monitored visitation rights suspended, after a public meltdown that saw her rushed to an LA hospital.
The Toxic singer was taken by ambulance to Cedars Sinai Hospital following a strange evening, where she held her sons hostage and was then detained by police, who suspected she was 'under the influence of an unknown substance'.
