Britney Spears' pregnant teenage sister is planning to elope - just to escape her troubled family, according to U.S. reports. Jamie Lynn Spears sparked outrage after it emerged she was pregnant aged just 16.
Now insiders say she has already booked her wedding day with boyfriend Casey Aldridge. And they insist her main motivation is escaping mum Lynne's control over her as they live in Britney's hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana.
Sources say Jamie Lynn's first move is to live a while with dad Jamie in Los Angeles where she is already reaching out to showbusiness people seeking work. "She wants to be closer to film projects she'd like to start after giving birth," an insider told the National Enquirer.
The Enquirer insists the wedding date has been set and will be shortly after her 17th birthday which is on April 4.
Her main motivation - escaping mum's control so she can live her life with Casey.
"Jamie Lynn loves Casey and wants to marry him but her mum is dead set against it," the insider said.
"Jamie Lynn knows that once she's out from under her mum's thumb in Kentwood she and Casey will be together."
