Britney Spears' rumored new paparazzo boyfriend lives life in the fast lane - literally.
Adnan Ghalib has several driving convictions under his belt, it emerged today.
The Afghani-born "photojournalist" has been hauled before the courts several times for various offenses. At California's Indio Superior Court he was convicted in March 2001 of speeding, failing to provide insurance documents and being the "unlicensed operator" of a vehicle, public records reveal.
He also fell foul of the law five years later when in November 2006 he was convicted at San Bernandino Superior Court for driving at speeds in excess of 70mph in August of that year.
Three months earlier, in May 2006, he was also convicted at Indio Superior Court of not wearing a seatbelt, according to records.
The 35-year-old, who grew up in the UK, has been spotted with Spears, 26, at several hotels around Los Angeles in recent weeks.
The unlikely pair went to the Le Parker Meridien Hotel at 2:30am on one occasion, with two security guards accompanying them. But a source said: "There was nothing romantic going on with Adnan. She was distracted, clicking away on her PDA."
Spears and Ghalib were spotted checking out of the hotel five hours later.
The pair have also been spotted driving together and socialising at a Beverly Hills hotel, it has been claimed.
In an interview with America's '20/20 news show, the photographer previously said of Spears: "I think she's a great person. It's unfortunate that she's the way she is, because of the people she surrounds herself with."
