Robbie Williams has a new pal - 80s TV star David Icke, with whom he's been sharing his obsession with Aliens. The pair, who have been hanging out in LA, are both keen followers of Extra Terrestrials.
55-year-old Icke, famously ridiculed on Terry Wogan's TV chat show after claiming he was the son of God, met the 33-year-old singer in the States.
The former BBC sports presenter is in California trying to whip up interest in his crackpot theories about reptiles secretly ruling the world.
A source said: “David happened to be in a restaurant at the same time as Robbie. Rob recognised him and introduced himself.
“They had a good laugh together and have been meeting up since.
“It’s an odd acquaintance, to say the least.”
The former Take That star has also admitted he regularly dreams of being abducted by creatures from another planet.
Icke - who has published at least 20 books outlining his views, a mixture of New Age philosophy and apocalyptic conspiracism, reckons world leaders including George Bush, Hillary Clinton and Tony Blair are disguised reptiles from a star constellation called Draco.
He is planning a seven-hour talk on his insights in Brixton, South London, in May.
