A funeral has been set for the late Hollywood actor Heath Ledger, it has been reported. Ledger's family are expected to arrive in New York tomorrow, (Friday) George Amado, the general manager of the Frank E. Campbell funeral home, where Heath's body was taken on Wednesday, told American newspaper USA Today.
"We are not giving out any information at all," Amado told Us Weekly.
Amado did not offer any other funeral details to USA Today at the request of Ledger's family.
The 28-year-old Australian-born actor - famous for his role in the 2005 film Brokeback Mountain, in which he played a gay cowboy, died Tuesday in a rented downtown Manhattan apartment.
Citing police sources, the Associated Press has claimed that six prescription drugs, including anti-anxiety medications and sleeping pills, were found at the time of the Heath's death.
Police sources confirmed that all the prescription drugs were in Ledger's name and that they confiscated the prescribed sleeping aid Ambien. Ledger had talked recently about how he suffered from insomnia.
On CBS' Early Show this morning, Ledger's two uncles said their nephew wouldn't intentionally hurt himself.
"It's certainly, as far as we're concerned, a tragic accident and death," his uncle Haydn Ledger said.
Fans have set up a makeshift memorial outside the apartment where Ledger died.
It has also been reported that the actor, whose full name is Heathcliff Andrew Ledger, was dating Mary-Kate Olsen.
A masseuse who arrived at Ledger's SoHo apartment on Tuesday first called Olsen, 21, before 911 when she discovered the Australian born actor's body.
The New York post claims that Ledger had Olsen's number programmed into his phone.
According to America's New York Daily News newspaper, Olsen's bodyguard later confirmed to police that two were dating (though her rep insists they're just good friends). The NYP quotes a police source as saying the two had a "mutual relationship."
