Britney Spears has revealed her feelings about actor Heath Ledger's recent, untimely death - and said, in her British accent: "He’s still here. Oh, yes. No one ever really dies. No one." The 26-year-old 'Gimme More' singer - who chatted with the paparazzi from the driver’s seat of her car while her assistant, Carla, was shopping at an L.A. Rite Aid — also admitted she’s not well.
"I’m already very sick — but in a good way,” she said after being quizzed by photographers if she needed a sweater to keep her exposed shoulders warm in the rain.
When asked about the whereabouts of her on-off paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, she replied, “Who’s that?"
Spears also spent some time chatting to the shutterbugs that follow her every move.
After one photog replied, “All we want to make sure is that you’re tucked in tonight,” she flirtatiously responded, “That’s not a good thing to say to a girl at all!”
After her assistant came out of Rite Aid with a bag in tow, Spears popped her trunk and accidentally bumped her elbow.
“That hurt really bad,” she screamed. “I wanna cry!”
