Kevin Federline necked tequila and shot some pool as he enjoyed a boys' night out in Los Angeles. The rapper, who is fighting ex-wife Britney Spears for custody of their two sons, was in good spirits when he partied with pals at a low-key sports bar.
Sources at the nightspot revealed K-Fed paid for his drinks in cash and tipped generously, while the management supplied him with free shots.
"He seemed to be having a great time," one onlooker said. "The bar was a far cry from his usual nights out in Vegas, but he seemed to be enjoying himself nevertheless."
Federline, 29, arrived at Busby's in the Miracle Mile area at around 10pm on Sunday night with three male friends.
The rapper, who came to the sports bar to listen to a pal DJ, headed straight for the games room and picked up a pool cue.
He spent around four hours shooting pool, drinking and playing on the Shuffle Board, in between nipping to the patio area for cigarettes.
"Kevin was loving every minute," the onlooker said. "There were scores of girls trying to talk to him, but he seemed more interested in hanging out with his mates.
"He would throw his arms in the air every time he took a good shot.
"He may be in the middle of a complicated legal battle, but he seemed to have forgotten about that tonight."
Dressed all in white, with a cropped Mohawk hairstyle, K-Fed laughed and joked with his entourage as he made the most of the Busby's games room.
"He was drinking Jack Daniels and coke all night," a source at the bar said.
"He was being given quite a few free drinks, so his tab only came to about $40 or $50 - but he still tipped $30 on top of that.
"Most people just leave their card behind the bar, but Kevin was keen to pay cash.
"The manager took him a few tequila shots, and egged him on to down them. He duly obliged - he was being a really good sport."
Kevin, who currently has custody of sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, left the bar at about 2am and was driven off in a yellow Lamborghini.
