Davina McCall's first kiss with husband Matthew Robertson turned into a snogathan that left her mouth red raw, she has revealed. The Big Brother presenter said she was getting a bit impatient with the television presenter wondering when he was going to make a move.
She said: "We'd been courting for ages and it had been going on and on and on. I thought is he ever going to kiss me?
"The plumber had just been and left the flat. Matthew was sat on the coffee table and I was sat on the sofa. He leaned forward and I thought: 'Oh crikey, it's going to be the kiss'.
"I leaned forward and there was this moment that went on forever and then we kissed.
"We kissed and we kissed and we kissed. It went on for hours and come five o'clock the dogs needed a walk because they needed a wee.
"We took the dogs to the park and we walked round the park and at seven o'clock they shut the park but we were still in the park snogging.
"At about eight thirty we had to stop because I was literally red raw. It was a snogathon."
The 33-year-old also let slip husband Matthew has a very unusual pet name for her - falafel.
He names Davina after the Turkish delicacy while the couple are together at their home in Chiswick, West London. The mother of three made the revelations on Channel 4's The Friday Night Project on which she impersonated troubled singer Britney Spears by whipping off a wig and pretending to shave her head.
