Robbie Williams to stage a $300m comeback tour

Robbie WilliamsBritish singer Robbie Williams is set to take revenge on his former 'Take That' bandmates - by staging a $300 million comeback world tour.

The 'Feel' singer is eager to prove he is bigger than his hold bandmates, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange - who recently completed a sold-out European tour - by lining up a sensational string of concerts of his own.

A source close to 33-year-old Robbie - whose 2006 album 'Rudebox' was panned by critics, told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Whatever the critics say he is a force to be reckoned with and everyone knows he puts on a great show which is why millions across the globe are always desperate to get their hands on his concert tickets.

"After so long out of the limelight his fans are desperate to see him back where he belongs, on stage.

"It has the potential to be one of the biggest tours ever see."

The tour will see Robbie perform at Knebworth, England, once again, where he played to 375,000 in just three days back in 2003.
