Dustin Hoffman left speechless by flirty interviewer

Dustin HoffmanDustin Hoffman was left speechless when a cheeky interviewer asked him if he wanted to play her bongos.

The Rain Man star looked shocked at GMTV reporter Alison Hammond's question - until she handed him the drums to play.

Hoffman said he and fellow actor Gene Hackman started to play the bongos after being inspired by the late Marlon Brando.

The veteran actor was talking of his love of the drums when Hammond asked: "Would you like to play my bongos?" as she gestured at her boobs.

"Oh my god. I didn't know this was X-rated," said a shell-shocked Hoffman. "I thought that was a euphemism."

But cheeky Hammond then pulled out a set of bongos from behind her chair and demanded: "Give me a tune baby."

After showing off his skills, Hoffman was still laughing at Hammond's front.

"Will you play my bongos? You're my kind of girl," he laughed during an interview on ITV's GMTV.

Hoffman is in the UK to promote his new film Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium.

Hammond is fast making a name for herself for breaking the ice with celebrities.

Chicago star Renee Zellweger was left in hysterics after the buxom ex-Big Brother star tap-danced for her.

Hammond also convinced notoriously frosty Russell Crowe to serenade her.
