Victoria Beckham has finally made it in the US - on to Mr Blackwell's list of Worst Dressed Women. Posh Spice and singer Amy Winehouse are two of the Brits on the infamous list, which the top fashion critic releases each year.
Blackwell poured scorn on Mrs Beckham's style, which she prides herself on saying: "In one skinny-mini monstrosity after another, pouty Posh can really wreck 'em."
Winehouse, 24, with her extra-high beehive and Cleopatra-style eyeliner, has also not been spared Blackwell's scorn.
He describes the singer as "exploding beehives above, tacky polka-dots below. She's part '50s car-hop horror."
Blackwell says: "This past year stands out as one of the most disastrous fashion years in recent memory, as well as being a particularly eye-popping moment in Tinseltown where several worst-dressed repeat offenders suffered collective meltdowns."
One Brit who did not make the list is singer Britney Spears.
Spears, 26, had topped the list for the past two years but Blackwell had some mercy on the mum-of-two saying: "For those of you who were expecting to see Britney's name adorn the 2007 list, I felt that it was inappropriate at this time to make comment, when her personal life is in such upheaval.
"I hope 2008 is a better year for her."
Actress Mary-Kate Olsen and singers Fergie and Kelly Clarkson also made the 2007 list.
Olsen, 21, came third. Blackwell says she "resembles a tattered toothpick trapped in a hurricane."
Fergie came fourth and Clarkson came fifth. Blackwell says the American Idol Winner has a "heavenly voice" that "soars above the rest, but those belly baring bombs are hellish at best."
The fashion critic also didn't have kind words for singer Avril Lavigne. He says her "fashions [are] provided by the house of Dracula."
Jessica Simpson he decried as a "global fashion curse" and actress Lindsay Lohan, he says has taken "fashion to a new low."
Celebrities who got it right in 2007 include actress Reese Witherspoon, Beyonc?, Katie Holmes and Nicole Kidman.
There are more Brits on this list - the Fabulous Fashion Independents for 2007 - though.
Prince William's girlfriend Kate Middleton, actress Helen Mirren and socialite Jemima Khan have also made the list.
