Suzanne Shaw’s horror fall during Dancing on Ice

This is the moment Dancing on Ice star Suzanne Shaw was hit on the head by her skating partner's blade during a horror fall.

The former Hear'Say singer was rehearsing for ITV programme when the accident happened on Saturday.

The 26-year-old slipped and fell while being held by her American partner Matt Evers.

She landed face first on the rink before being hit in the back of the head by his skate. "I have no idea what happened. One minute I was skating, next minute I wasn't," she said.

Matt said: "I ended up diving over the top of her and the back of my heel scraped her head."

But luckily Suzanne, who suffered a small cut to the head, was fit enough to perform in the live show. "These things happen. I've fallen enough times. It's not going to worry me for this performance," she said.

TV presenter Natalie Pinkham and her partner Andre Lipanov were voted off.
