Hollywood actress Sally Kirkland has been briefly hospitalized for exhaustion.
Kirkland, 68, was admitted to hospital in Los Angeles over the weekend but has since been released.
Reps for the star, who famously appeared on the front cover of Screw magazine fully nude, whilst riding bare-back astride a large hog to illustrate the 1969 film Futz!, blamed the exhaustion for filming three movies back to back.
A rep for Kirkland isssaid: "In less than a month, Sally Kirkland celebrated the screening of her film at the Cairo Film Festival, then returned to the states, where she immediately shot three films back-to-back.
"Upon wrapping Oak Hill - her most demanding role since her Oscar-nominated performance in Anna - Ms. Kirkland was admitted to an outpatient hospital for exhaustion and sleep deprivation.
"She has been treated and released, and thanks her fans for their ongoing support and prayers."
Kirkland who has appeared in such movies as The Sting and Private Benjamin, is currently resting at home and will return to work later this week.
