Strictly Come Dancing star Matt Di Angelo has denied a romance with his dance partner - but his wide grin suggested otherwise. The show's runner up caused a storm when it was rumoured he had fallen for professional dancer Flavia Cacace.
Flavia's furious boyfriend Vincent Simone, also a dancer on the show, attacked Di Angelo for allegedly stealing her from him.
Speaking on GMTV Di Angelo denied they were lovers, insisting: "We're good friends."
But he later let slip: "I think everyone knows but it's not an easy situation."
Throughout the interview he looked like the cat that had got the cream, with a wide smile on his face. He said: "I see her every single day at rehearsals for the tour.
"As far as I'm concerned I don't really like talking about my personal life and I don't want to talk about her personal life.
"But when there's people knocking on your door, on your grandparents' door, trying to get something out of you you kind of have to give the press what they want so they'll leave you alone. So I've said what I said.
"At the moment we're a dance couple."
