Midnight Celebrity: Madonna spends $120,000 a year on Kabbalah water

Pop millionaire Madonna reportedly spends $120,000 a year on specially blessed Kabbalah water.

The 'Papa Don't Preach' singer - a devout follower of the mystical Jewish faith, apparently can't get enough of the $5-a-bottle beverage, and makes sure she always has a regular supply on hand.

A source close to Madonna told In Touch Weekly magazine: "Madonna drinks a lot of water - that's one of her fitness secrets. And Kabbalah water is the only stuff she will touch.

"She also makes sure she always has some to hand, and has it regularly shipped to wherever in the world she is staying at the time."

A description of the "blessed" water on kabbalahwater.com reads: "The Kabbalistic blessings and meditations that are used to create Kabbalah Water, for example, bring about elegant and balanced crystalline structures in water, while negative consciousness has an opposite effect. This is hugely important. In a very literal way, Kabbalah Water is life's original blueprint information brought into the modern world."

It continues: "Just as it did at the first moment of Creation, the growth of every living organism should follow this blueprint. All the metabolic and regulatory processes of life require information -- and because of its unique crystalline structure and fractal design, Kabbalah water is an excellent information transmitter. Positive, health-giving information is defined by symmetry and high energy, while low energy and entropy -- like static in TV or radio reception -- characterize muddled information. Therefore, the condition of the water we take into our bodies determines the quality of the information being transmitted to our immune system, digestive system, circulatory system, and even to every atom of our bodies.

The scientific findings regarding Kabbalah Water are fascinating and important. But the essence and foundation of Kabbalah Water is the consciousness of sharing which infuses it. Once, all the waters of the world were imbued with this consciousness. "

Some Kabbalah Center leaders are said to have claimed the water has the power to cure diseases including cancer and AIDS.

Madonna has been a devout follower of Kabbalah since the late 90s.

In 2006, it was revealed the 49-year-old singer - who's married to 'Snatch' director Guy Richie, had shelled out a whopping $2.4 million promoting the faith around the world in the previous four years.
