Following the Thursday night events of troubled Britney Spears' dash to the hospital, Mark Vincent Kaplan, Kevin Federline's lawyer in the former couple's bitter, ongoing custody battle rushed to the L.A. Family Court this morning for an emergency hearing with Commissioner Scott Gordon.
But according to reports, after the hearing let out Kaplan - who often holds a press conference following hearings, elected to have an associate of his, Michael Sands, talk for him. And he didn't give anything away.
"Because of all the media inquiries, Mark feels at this time it would be inappropriate to speak," Sands, who would not confirm or deny any details of what happened in the courthouse explained to OK! Magazine.
Meanwhile, Blood tests have revealed that Britney Spears was not under the influence when she was rushed to hospital last night.
The blood tests, carried out at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center came back negative, despite earlier reports from police that she appeared to be under the influence of a substance when she was taken from her home after a custody dispute with ex-husband Kevin Federline last night.
"Her blood test just came back, and, thank God, it was clean. There are no traces of drugs or alcohol of any kind,” a source close to the Spears family told Life & Style magazine.
