Fans of the tragic Hollywood Heath Ledger are snapping up his films in the aftermath of his untimely death.
Three of the 28-year-old Australian actor's films – 10 Things I Hate About You, A Knight's Tale, and Brokeback Mountain – entered Amazon.com's list of top 25 best-selling DVDs since his death on Tuesday, according to the Associated Press.
Ledger's death also sparked a trading bonanza on Internet auction website eBay, with fans rushing to buy and sell memorabilia.
Fewer than 200 items were listed on the site on Tuesday morning.
But there was a frenzied rush to sell in the hours after his death in his New York apartment at the age of 28 was revealed later that day.
Within half an hour there were 500 items listed on the site and a short time ago more than 800 items were up for auction, including autographed posters, Brokeback Mountain and other movies the star had appeared in.
As of Thursday night there were more than 1,600 Ledger items listed for sale - including Heath Ledger RIP wristbands, clearly designed to cash in on the tragedy.
An autographed poster from Ledger's 1999 flick, 10 Things I Hate About You, was selling for a minimum bid of $1,000.
Even newspaper's reporting his death on the front page were up for sale - with a 50 cent copy of the New York Daily News being offered for $5 USD.
