Pop wreck Britney Spears is still not allowed to see her kids, a Los Angeles court ruled today. A special hearing had been called as Britney's lawyer petitioned the court in downtown LA for visitation in a therapeutic setting.
But Commissioner Scott Gordon point blank refused their request - especially after the singer failed yet again to turn up in court.
Britney's lawyers know they're up against it -- their client has some sort of bipolar disorder but has refused to commit herself to a mental hospital for evaluation and treatment.
Britney cannot be involuntarily committed so her lawyers and family have reportedly devised a "creative way" of treating her.
And they wanted the Commissioner Gordon to let her visit sons Sean Preston and Jayden James while she undergoes treatment.
But Commissioner Gordon refused the request mainly because he has repeatedly ordered Britney to undergo a court-ordered psych evaluation but she has refused.
Her refusal to put in appearance in court also angered Commissioner Gordon after it was revealed Britney had turned up to court but refused to go inside. She caused chaos at court yet again when she arrived but left again almost immediately.
Britney arrived just gone 9am in a large black Navigator SUV.
Her ex Kevin Federline was already waiting in the courtroom with his attorneys ready for the hearing on the custody of their two sons and other post divorce issues.
But in typical Britney style she never actually made it inside the courtroom for the hearing.
When the Commissioner asked her attorney if she was coming back, she simply answered: "I don't know whether she'll be here or not."
The attorney then added: "I don't want to delay the hearing."
So K-Fed was sworn in and the media were cleared from the courtroom.
Then just 45 minutes later Britney was seen leaving the court building and driving off without having stepped foot inside Department 88.
