Britney Spears is quite clearly over her paparazzo beau Adnan Ghalib. When the troubled 26-year-old was asked if she had a message for the British shutterbug, Britney responded in a British accent: "I don't know who that is I have never met him before."
The comments, which were made on Sunday and taped outside the Millennium Dance Studios in Burbank, have continued to fuel rumors that the odd couple have split.
Spears also commented, "You are better off being homeless than being me, sir."
35-year-old Finalpixx photographer Ghalib, has been with the Toxic singer since December. The day after she left Cedars-Sinai January 5, she ran away with him to Palm Desert.
Last Sunday, Britney's closest pal Sam Lufti told X17 that he "is worried about Adnan's influence over Britney."
Britney's best friend, cousin & former assistant Alli Sims told Us Weekly magazine in its latest issue: "I do not think Adnan is a good person. I think he only has bad intentions. He has given me a weird feeling and creeped me out. I wish he would just go away."
Photo agency X17 claimed yesterday (Sunday Jan 20) that Britney had filed a restraining order against Adnan, that expressed anger and disappointment towards Ghalib for 'setting her up' in photographs that he and his agency FinalPixx have sold to newspapers and magazines.
The claims, originally made by X17 turned out to be total crap - with LAPD spokesman Mike Lopez saying that Britney "has never filed a police report against Adnan Ghalib nor has she requested a restraining order against him."
