Troubled diva Amy Winehouse is set to clean up her act this year - and is planning for a big comeback for 2008 - in the states.
The 'Rehab' singer, 24, will reportedly be performing at the prestigious Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on February 10.
2007 was a great year for Amy's career, but away from the music - she was arrested twice, saw her husband - Blake Fielder-Civil - go to jail and canceled her UK tour halfway through.
But, after taking this month off to recuperate - she's currently relaxing at Bryan's Adams' Caribbean villa - Amy has penciled in the lavish ceremony for her return.
Grammy bosses only invite the very best acts to perform at the music awards each year. And they've been desperately trying to convince Amy to perform ever since she was nominated in six categories (including Record Of The Year - for Rehab, Album Of The Year - for Back To Black - and Best New Artist.
A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Her live performances can either be spectacular or car-crash territory but, either way, it's a gamble organisers are willing to take as she's such hot property."
"Amy is really excited to be asked to perform at the Grammys. It's a huge event.
"She's planning to do some sort of soul and Motown medley, and is even weighing up the possibility of a duet with some US stars - particularly Kanye West, who has spoken in the past of wanting to work with her."
But there might be a few issues to iron out before Amy even gets to America. The source revealed: "The only potential problem is that Amy will need a US visa, so she is hoping that her recent arrest won't cause any problems."
