After shocking videos of Amy Winehouse allegedly snorting crack through a pipe appeared online, the troubled singer has reportedly been left in tears. Amy's pals are now rallying around the 'Rehab' singer - fearing they are losing their friend.
The 24-year-old soul diva fooled the press yesterday when she turned up at her doctor's office all glammed up, leading people to believe that she had finally checked herself into rehab. Instead, the beehived singer was actually visiting her doctor for her regular epilepsy and drug-counseling consultations.
A close friend of the singer - famous for the lyrics "they tried to make me go to rehab, I said no, no, no," told PageSix.com: "Things have clearly gotten really bad. I have spoken to Amy and she is aware of everything going on around her. She hasn't lost it, but she's been in tears since these pictures came out and is truly ashamed and is trying to put on a brave face." Amy was due to go to rehab earlier this month but according it was claimed she kept using the stress of husband Blake Fielder-Civil's imprisonment as an excuse not to go. The friend added, "Amy knows she's an addict, but she won't get help. We hope this will be her wake-up call, we really do."
Amy's husband Blake Fielder-Civil - who his locked up in London's Pentonville prison, is reportedly aware of the the recent tabloid reports about his wife, and feels helpless. Sources claim Blake has been clean since his incarceration in November, when he was denied bail on witness-tampering charges.
Friends fear it's now or never for Amy. "Everyone is so devastated, we feel we are slowly losing Amy," her friend said. "We wake everyday and feel it's the last day we'll every spend with her. We hope this is never the case."
