Sugababes star Amelle Berrabah has reportedly been left fearing for her life after the horrific machete attack on her boyfriend Freddie Fuller, which left him fighting for his life last month. Fuller, 25, lost our pints of blood in the attack, which took place outside an Aldershot pub on Christmas Eve. His left arm and right thumb were left hanging off and he had huge gashes in his skull.
Freddie said: 'The doctors have told me that I'm lucky to be alive. I really thought, as the machete kept coming at me: “This blow will cut me in half….”'
Freddie was rushed to Surrey's Frimley Park hospital, where the distraught singer, 23, has been loyally by his side ever since.
The brutal attack is being blamed on a bitter local feud - and now Amelle's worried that she could be the next victim.
Police have warned that Freddie's friends could try and seek revenge and violence in the area will escalate.
A friend of the star told Britain's Now Magazine: "She's really terrified. Freddie could've died and Amelle believes she could be next. They both still live in Aldershot, close to where it happened, and her high-profile position in the band means she could be made a target."
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and has since been released on police bail.
