Robbie Williams to help the homeless at Christmas

Robbie WilliamsFormer Take That star Robbie Williams is volunteering at a homeless shelter over the Christmas period.

The 'Feel' star - who is rumored to be leaving his record label EMI, will spend Christmas Day and Boxing Day dishing out grub to those less fortunate at the Skid Row charity house in LA.

And according to reports, the Robster might even take his guitar along to pelt out some Christmas Carols after tucking in to their dinner.

Robbie's chef friend Raymond Terry – who first took him to see the shelter – said: "Robbie does an awful lot of charity work. And this is really close to his heart.

"Everybody I've taken to Skid Row is moved to tears. And the homeless people there are a lot of fun."

Raymond added: "Most of the guys over here don't really know who Robbie is.

"But there's a lot of excitement in the air, because they've been told he's a big pop star in Europe."
