Damon Dash has dismissed bizarre allegations that he turned a woman into a schizophrenic after flashing at her three years ago. A lawsuit filed by Jamie Roberts, from Atlanta, Georgia, claims she met US music producer Dash in a club in Miami in March 2004.
She alleges Dash - who she says was using the name Jeremy McIntyre - invited her to join him at a nearby marina.
According to legal papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court in New York, Dash allegedly flashed "his genital area" in an "offensive manner" and tried to coerce her into giving him oral sex.
Nine months after the meeting, Roberts claims she "began to hear [the] defendant's voice in her ear, giving her certain directions to follow".
She also alleges the meeting resulted in her being diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
Roberts said she was unaware of Dash's real identity at the time of the reported incident. And she said she only discovered who he was when she later spotted him on hit US comedy programme, Chapelle's Show.
But a spokesman for Dash, a close pal of Posh Spice Victoria Beckham, said in a statement: "We know nothing about it. It's quite obvious this is a false allegation."
Roberts is seeking $30,000 USD in compensation and punitive damages in the lawsuit, which she wrote up herself.
