Brooklyn Beckham to follow in David Beckham’s footsteps?

David BeckhamDavid and Victoria Beckhams' eldest son Brooklyn is showing signs of his father's talent - and has reportedly achieved 64 keep-ups aged only eight.

Proud dad David revealed: "He's got a great strike on him, a great right foot, and he kept the ball up 64 times. Pretty good for his age."

He said wife Victoria is "not great at goalkeeping" during garden kickabouts.

Meanwhile, the LA Galaxy superstar has revealed that he used to wear ballet shoes and knickerbockers as a young lad.

Beckham - who's married to Spice Girls star Victoria Beckham said that he chose the outfit, complete with long socks, in preference to a suit when he was a page boy.

During a a radio phone-in, Becks, 32, said: "My dad gave me a little bit of stick but I was happy.”

The British soccer superstar seems to have a penchant for wearing feminine clothing - he was snapped in a sarong during a holiday in France in 1998

Wife Victoria has previously told how David likes to wax and wear thongs. And he even famously wore pink nail varnish to the baptism of actress Liz Hurley’s son.

The Becks phone-in will be broadcast on Britain's Radio 2, Christmas day at 3.05pm.

He also told how Posh keeps goal at home for soccer-mad sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.
