Amy Winehouse's husband has been getting prison tips from rocker Pete Doherty, it has been revealed. Blake - who's locked up in London's Pentonville prison, awaiting trial for charges of assault and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, has been writing to the 'Babyshambles' rocker for advice.
Doherty is also reportedly updating Blake about life on the outside and has vowed to look after his troubled wife Amy.
A friend said: “Blake feels very vulnerable. As well as threats he faces in jail, he fears Amy’s friends will use his time in prison to come between them and try to split them up.
“He has asked Pete to look after Amy and fight his corner to make sure he doesn’t get shut out.
“Pete has a soft spot for Blake, who has always idolised him, and has promised to do his best.”
Meanwhile, Blake is allegedly using a smuggled mobile-phone to make illegal telephone calls from his jail cell, he is believed to be hiding a mobile in his cell while on remand for the alleged trial rigging.
Sources have claimed that 25-year-old Fielder-Civil has been using the phone to call and text Amy and his various music industry associates. The authorities at Pentonville are now set to come down hard on him.
A source said: “I don’t think Blake realises how much trouble he’s in if the screws find it.”
