Pregnant singer Lily Allen has sparked rumors that she is planning to marry her boyfriend Ed Simons. The 'Smile' star, 22, sparked engagement rumors after she was seen wearing what appeared to be a diamond ring, reports British newspaper The Sun.
The claims that Lily - who recently revealed she is expecting her first baby with the Chemical Brothers star - was shopping in the capital when she was seen wearing a band on her ring finger.
Earlier this week the pop star said she was "thrilled" to be expecting a baby with Ed, 37, who she started dating in September.
A spokesman for Lily said: "I am pleased to confirm that Lily Allen and her boyfriend, Ed Simons, are expecting their first child.
"However, as the pregnancy is at a very, very early stage, the couple ask that you respect their privacy, as the health of Lily and their child is their paramount concern. As the pregnancy is at such an early stage, the couple will be making no further comment but they are obviously both thrilled by the news."
