X Factor winners Leona Lewis and Leon Jackson dominated the UK albums and singles charts this week. Leona Lewis - who won the ITV talent show in 2006, bagged the Christmas number one album, with her debut release 'Spirit'.
Leon Jackson, who won X Factor last week, bagged the Christmas number one single with his debut release 'When You Believe.'

18-year-old former shop-assistant Leon, spoke about his chart success to Britain's Radio 1: "It's been a great ending to a fantastic year and it's just the best Christmas present I could ever wish for."
And this week's top 10 albums, which Leona tops for the sixth week in a row, are, as follows:

Meanwhile, bookies were so certain that Jackson - who, last-week beat Welsh singer Rhydian Roberts to the £1 million recording contact would be the Christmas number one that they had started paying out three days ago.
"Christmas number one was one of the great Christmas traditions with thousands of small wagers placed each year as the big boys battled it out for the top spot but the X Factor has killed off the fun as no one dare go up against it," said Rupert Adams, spokesman for bookmaker William Hill.
"It has now got to the stage where we are already odds on that the X Factor winner will have the Xmas 1 in 2008."
