Kevin Federline put his recent public problems behind him with a commanding performance on a popular US TV series. Federline, 29, appeared on One Tree Hill last night, as frontman for an up and coming rock band called No Means Yes - playing 'cocky' Jason.
Complete with a sleeveless vest, tattoos and shaved head, K-Fed looked the part, with some rock and roll chains hanging from his jeans - and gave a strong vocal performance of one of the bands hits.
Federline filmed the scenes last October, before Britney's public meltdown.
Kevin Federline currently has sole legal and physical custody of sons Sean Preston, 2 and Jayden James, 1.
The next hearing in the ongoing custody battle with Britney Spears is scheduled for February 19.
Federline's appearance is the first of three, the rapper/dancer will be making on One Tree Hill this week.
Federline's real-life musical career flopped in 2006 with the release of his debut album, 'Playing with Fire.'
It sold approximately 6,000 copies.
