Amy Winehouse’s husband wants a divorce

Amy Winehouse's incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil has reportedly asked her for a divorce.

Amy's dad, Mitch said that his troubled son-in-law, 25, said that he was ready to call it a day on their marriage during a recent argument with the 'Rehab' singer.

"Blake threatened to issue divorce proceedings when they were having a row," he says.

Taxi driver Mitch, 57, reckons that Blake wants to end their marriage because he's being encouraged by his mum Georgette Civil, 42, to cut Amy out of his life.

"Unfortunately, Blake is influenced by things his mother has said," Mitch tells Britain's Grazia Magazine. "I think Georgette wants them to divorce, but it's up to them.

"From Amy's point of view, she would stick by him not matter what. But he has said things like, 'I want a divorce'."

And pals agree the singer's marriage is looking likely to collapse.

"The Blake and Amy situation is imploding," says a source. "Blake has been listening to his mother, and he's been hot and cold with Amy when they do meet."

Blake is currently on remand at London's Pentonville Prison and will face charges for conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and assault later this year.
