Jude Law is fearing for the safety of his children - following a break in at ex-wife, Sadie Frost's North London home. Sadie, 42, was in her Primrose Hill house when thieves sneaked in through a back door last weekend.
The fashion designer was left badly shaken by the raid, in which cash and credit cards were stolen, and is now bumping up security.
The thieves also reportedly nicked a laptop which is believed to contain personal photos of Sadie's friends, children and boyfriends.
Sadie's close friends, Kate Moss, Rhys Ifans and Davina Taylor have been put on high-alert after their contact details were thought to have gone missing along with the computer.
A source reveals: "Jude really cares for Sadie and was very upset to hear of the break-in.
His first concern is for his ex-wife and their children. It was a particularly distressing thing for Sadie and he's there for her."
Sadie has three children with the 'Alfie' actor, 35, - Rafferty, 10, Iris, six, and four-year-old Rudy. Sadie and Jude divorced in October 2003.
It's not the first time Sadie's home has been the target of thieves. Last year, burglars stole signed pictures of Sid Vicious, the family Range Rover, cash, a check book and personal photos.
The source added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Sadie can't believe it's happened again, especially as she was once more in the house.
"Her utmost concern is the safety of her children and she'll be doing everything to review security.
"She is praying that the laptop will be returned because of the private and personal information contained on it.
"The last thing she wants is pictures appearing of her on the internet. And it's been a massive inconvenience to have to cancel all her credit cards. She's freaked out by the whole experience and is finding it difficult to be on her own in the house."
A police spokesman confirmed: "The crime occurred on January 11 between 7-8pm when the occupier was present. Personal property and a laptop were taken. It's being investigated."
