Actress Queen Latifah says she likes having love interests in movies because she gets to swap them around. The 37-year-old Hairspray star told US talk show host Larry King she likes to "check out what they've got" before moving onto the next.
But she revealed she was in no hurry to get married in real life and described herself as "the original runaway bride".
Latifah appeared on Larry King's show with Diane Keaton to promote their new movie Mad Money. In the flick, which also stars Katie Holmes, Latifah has an on-screen romance with World Trade Center star Roger Cross.
"I like having a love interests in movies," the actress said. "I don't have to have the same one.
"I can swap them out every picture, you know? And check out what they've got, you know what I mean?"
Latifah said her latest big screen lover Roger was "a doll".
"He's very good and he's strong," she told King. "Callie [Khouri - director] really liked him for this role. And once I met him, I understood why.
"He really is a guy who could be that guy, you know?"
But when asked if she wanted to get married, Latifah laughed at the question and said "no". "I'm the original runaway bride," she joked. "I'm not going to say I don't want to, but I'm, like I'm not pressured about it like many people are.
