Kevin Federline could scoop $10m by penning a tell-all book about his turbulent marriage to troubled pop princess Britney Spears. K-Fed, 29, is putting down the details of his rollercoaster relationship with Spears on paper, it has been claimed.
"He's been writing things down for a long time about his tempestuous time with Britney. He'll earn a fortune with this," an insider told Star magazine.
"Kevin feels that Britney suffers from a form of schizoid or multiple personality disorder."
And the insider says the sizzling book would also cover the couple's sex life, starting when Britney picked him up at a Hollywood nightclub four years ago. "Britney invited Kevin back to her bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel. He says they had unprotected sex their first night together," the source added."
The book would also contain details of Spears dressing up in a French maid or nurse's costume, and Spears' interest in a threesome. "It always made Kevin insecure. He wondered if Britney preferred women over men.
"He says that Britney wanted him to participate with her in threesomes and he never would."
The book would also include details of Spears' wild personality and substance abuse. "Kevin says that she always wanted to get high and drunk," the source added. "She sometimes stayed up all night drinking and smoking."
Industry experts say the book would be a guaranteed bestseller and the failed rapper could bank more than $10m for it.
"A book like that would be really hot. There would definitely be a bidding war," U.S publisher Ron Turner told the magazine.
"When all is said and done, with advance serialization and international rights and movie rights he could get $10m, if not more."
Federline may also be ready to describe video footage shot by 15 security cameras the ex-couple has installed in their luxurious Malibu mansion. "Britney knows Kevin kept some tapes, and she's begged him many times to destroy them.
"Some show her in violent fits of rage. She got so out of control, she would hit him. There are so many dark moments."
Representatives for Federline deny that he is writing the book.
