Britney Spears is suffering from split personalities, a US report has claimed. The troubled pop princess apparently flips between the 'British Girl', the 'Weepy Girl', the 'Diva' and the 'Incoherent Girl'.
Sources told celebrity news website TMZ.com that after a British personality episode, the singer has no recollection of what she did during that time.
Britney, 26, has been heard talking to photographers and camera crews with an increasingly British accent in recent weeks.
The Toxic star seems to change between the Brit drawl and her more familiar southern US voice.
But according to TMZ.com, there is more to Britney's changing accents than meets the eye - or ear.
A source tells the website that the Baby One More Time singer has multiple personalities, and the 'British Girl' is just one of them.
The singer reportedly became the British Girl on the day she failed to show up for her child custody battle deposition - and therefore has no recollection of it.
The state of Britney's mental health has been in the spotlight since cops were called to her home earlier this month.
The pop star was taken to hospital in an ambulance after she locked herself in the bathroom with youngest son Jayden James and refused to hand him over to ex-hubby Kevin Federline.
While some media reports claim Britney was under the influence of drugs, others say she is showing signs of bipolar disorder.
