Evi Quaid has branded claims about her behaviour made by the Actors Equity union as 'despicable lies' according to the New York Post.
In February Randy Quaid was banned from the union for life and fined $81, 572 for allegedly 'wreaking havoc' on the set of his latest movie 'Lone Star Love.'
26 staff members complained about Quaid's behaviour on the set, with some actors telling Equity they were 'physically and verbally abused' on the set.
During a January 25 hearing, the union heard that Evi allegedly became violent, screaming at union members. And even kicking a 76-year-old receptionist in the shins.
Evi Quaid has denied the claims. "The claims of the Actors Equity union are despicable lies," she told the New York Post.
"The people who run this union are small minded and have no place in the arts.
"They will do absolutely anything and everything to cover the truth, include assault me and then claim they were assaulted."
The union has refused to comment.
