Prince sat in the dark, sipping water at Los Angeles nightclub

Prince partied at a Los Angeles club - by sitting in the dark and sipping water, it was claimed today.

Sources said the pint-sized star showed up at hotspot Goa last week. And the 49-year-old immediately began making strange requests.

A US newspaper reported: "He demanded all the lights be turned off in the upstairs VIP room.

"He sat in a dark booth, surrounded by three bodyguards and drinking only bottles of water, with a mystery woman who he barely said a word to."

A spokesman for Prince - real name Prince Rogers Nelson - was unavailable for comment.
