Piers Morgan was lucky to escape the bullet on a new episode of Celebrity Apprentice.
The former Daily Mirror editor came to blows with 'The Sopranos' star, Vincent Pastore, who walked off the show, sparing Morgan's blushes, who was facing the sack from the series for badly managing the boy's team.
Morgan was given the role of project manager for the boy's team by show creator Donald Trump.
This week, the teams had to create an ad campaign for the popular Croc shoes.
Morgan asked Pastore to act as a mole and spy on the girls' team.
The rest of Morgan's team, including Stephen Baldwin and Lennox Lewis were unhappy at cheating, as notes were passed back and forth by Pastore to Piers, as The Sopranos actor managed to trick his way into the girls' team.
A mutiny was created, an escalated with a fall out between Pastore and Morgan in front of an unimpressed Donald Trump.
Pastore was unhappy at being frozen out by the former newspaper man. While Morgan got personal and called The Sopranos man, "a very fat Italian."
The boys ended up losing the challenge to the girls and had to face Trump in the boardroom. Pastore declared that he had enough of the show and wanted to leave.
Trump reluctantly let Pastore leave, but warned Morgan he would have been fired if the actor hadn't given up his place.
