92-year-old Blind golfer hits a hole-in-one

A golfer hit a hole-in-one with a difference - he is blind.

Leo Fiyalko, 92, suffers from a degenerative condition and only has peripheral vision in his right eye.

He been playing the sport for 60 years and the feat was his first ever hole-in-one.  "I was just trying to put the ball on the green," Fiyalko said.

Fiyalko plays a weekly round of golf at Cove Cay Country Club, in Clearwater, Florida, with a group of players aged 70 and over.

He needs help lining up his shots and finding his golf balls.

Jean Gehring was playing in his group and watched Fiyalko's swing. "I could tell it went on the green, (but) when we got up there I didn't see it. I looked in the hole and there it was," she said.

Fiyalko was presented with a plaque to celebrate the achievement.
