Hollywood babe Penelope Cruz is dating Javier Bardem, according to the actor's friend and co-star Woody Harrelson. Australia's Sydney Morning Herald newspaper claims that loose-tongued Harrelson, 46, let the secret slip at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Tuesday.
Anger Management star Harrelson was there to present his No Country for Old Men co-star with the Montecito Award for his contribution to film when he confirmed the two Spanish actors were an item.
Cruz, 33, and Bardem, 38, have previously denied rumors they are more than just co-stars
Woody let slip: "I can't believe the luck Javier has. If you look at his biography - one page is just describing his journey and then the second page is all of the awards he's won.
"And not to mention, I found this out last night too - he's going out with Penelope Cruz!"
At the mention of Cruz, the crowd cheered while an embarrassed Javier - who starred alongside Penelope in the 1992 film 'Jamón, Jamón', put his head in his hands.
Despite never confirming they are in a relationship, the pair were spotted canoodling in the Maldives last autumn and on several dates.
After meeting in 1992, the pair were reunited on the set of Woody Allen's new film last year, which is currently untitled and also stars Scarlett Johansson.
