Pop superstar Madonna is set to renew her wedding vows with husband Guy Ritchie. The pair are reportedly planning a sumer ceremony to help quash rumors that their seven-year marriage is on the rocks.
Only close family a small selection of celebrity pals including Gwyneth Paltrow and Stella McCartney will be invited to the private service at the couple's Wiltshire home.
Sources say that fashion designer Stella has designed the 'Like A Virgin' star's wedding outfit - which will be a cream trouser suit.
Paltrow will do a reading, as will Madonna's 11-year-old daughter Lourdes.
Madonna - who celebrates her 50th birthday later this year, and 'Snatch' director Guy Ritchie, 39, have bought each other eternity rings but are trying to keep their plans under wraps.
A source revealed: "Renewing their vows is the one way Guy and Madonna can show the world they are strong.
"They've worked hard to iron out their differences to get through the tough times.
"It's going to be a very emotional day and that's why they want the people who are closest to them to share it with them."
The pair got married in 2000 - but have constantly been dogged by rumors of marital woes.
The source added to Britain's News of The World newspaper: "They know a strong marriage takes constant effort and that they're in it for the long haul."
