The Beatles have embarked in their most magical and mysterious tour yet - as one of their songs is beamed across the universe.
As part of NASA's 50th anniversary celebrations, the agency was today due to broadcast the band's song Across The Universe into deep space.
The Fab Four's tunes have in the past been used as wake-up calls for astronauts and Paul McCartney was the first person whose live music was relayed into space.
This time, as the song reaches its 40th anniversary, their music was due to be sent at the speed of light towards the North Star.
Informed of NASA's plans, McCartney sent a message: "Amazing! Well done, NASA! Send my love to the aliens."
