It's a long and winding road but after a hard day's night, help is at hand at a Beatles-themed hotel.
The four star Hard Days Night Hotel opened its doors today in the boy's home of Liverpool and is set to attract thousand of fans of the Fab Four.
Based next door to the Cavern Club where the group first rose to fame, the 110-room boutique hotel is filled with old Beatles memorabilia including exclusive artwork by acclaimed Beatles artist
Shannon who once painted a poignant picture of Sir Paul McCartney with band mate John Lennon.
The hotel includes both luxury and deluxe rooms and guests can tinkle the ivories of a white grand piano in the Lennon penthouse suite, which boasts panoramic views of the city.
John Lennon's sister Julia Baird helped to unveil the new hotel. She said: "The Hard Days Night Hotel is simply fantastic. It's beautiful - especially the Lennon Suite. I am sure John would have loved it."
Also available to guests and non-guests are two restaurants, The Brasserie and Blakes, which serve modern British dishes.
Blake's decor features more artwork of the singers inspired by Sir Peter Blake who designed the Sergeant Pepper album.
The hotel is also home to two bars - one of which illustrates the time the foursome visited India in 1968.
It also includes two conference rooms for private entertaining and corporate events as well as a unique wedding chapel.
The grand opening of the $40million development coincides with Liverpool's recent unveiling as this year's European Capital of Culture and is sure to draw in hordes of music fans eager to enjoy the various music events in the northern city this year.
Mike Dewey, General Manager of the Hard Days Night Hotel, said: "The hotel will prove to be a big success globally, providing stylish accommodation and original artwork. The team and I look forward to welcoming our first guests.
However, as much as I'm sure our guests would love to, unfortunately nobody will be able to stay for eight days a week."
