Heather Mills has been accused of turning her High Court divorce battle with Sir Paul McCartney into a "big show" for the cameras. Friends of the multi-millionaire music legend say Heather, dubbed Mucca by British tabloids due her porn past, was using the court case to bolster her demands for round-the-clock security to be paid for by the former Beatle.
Sources claim that Mills' decision to arrive at court with a bodyguard and a driver - plus an entourage including her sister, personal trainer and make-up artist - was unnecessary.
"She turns up to court with security; he turns up without security and who is the more famous? It's weird isn't it? It's all a big show on her part," said the source.
Friends of Sir Paul - who is widely reported to be worth around $1.6bn - have emphasized that he has arrived in court without security, even though one former Beatle, John Lennon, was shot dead outside his home and another, George Harrison, was stabbed by an intruder in his.
Meanwhile, Heather's dad, Mark Mills, has said that his daughter - who has become a figure of hate amongst the great British public in recent months - will leave the UK for good when her divorce battle is over. "She won't stay in this country. She knows everybody hates her here," he said.
"I think she is very low at the moment and would leap at the chance to get away from it all and take Bea with her.
"I think she'll go abroad, probably to France or possibly the United States, and then she'll just slowly fade away into obscurity."
