Paris Hilton's 18-year-old brother is following in her footsteps - after he got arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, it was reported today. Barron Hilton was stopped by police when he pulled into a petrol station in Malibu, California this morning at 8.30am local time.
The teenager was driving a black Mercedes on scenic the Pacific Coast Highway with at least one passenger in his car at the time of the arrest.
Neither Paris, 26, nor his other sister Nicky, 24, was with him at the time, according to celebrity news website TMZ.com.
Barron was taken to the Lost Hills Sheriff station of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department following the arrest at the '76 petrol station. It is the same police station that Mel Gibson was taken to following his infamous drink-driving arrest in July 2006.
Barron also has a younger brother, Conrad Hilton.
In September 2006 Paris Hilton was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Her blood alcohol content at the time was found to be 0.08 percent.
In May 2007 she was sentenced to 45 days in jail for violating her probation terms after she failed to enroll in a court-ordered alcohol education programme following the 2006 arrest.
A Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesman was unavailable for immediate comment.
Barron was reportedly mugged by a group of knife-wielding thugs after a night out clubbing in New York in June 2007.
A spokesman for Paris Hilton was also unavailable for comment today
