Grieving Michelle Williams attended a private ceremony in Los Angeles Saturday to honor her former fiance Heath Ledger, a source has said. The ceremony was held at the Sony Studios.
In addition to his family, Josh Hartnett and Ledger's other ex, Naomi Watts, as well as other key industry figures and people connected to CAA (the agency that represented Ledger), attended.
Musician Ben Harper performed.
Australian paper Perth Now is reporting that Ledger's grieving family, including father Kim, mother Sally and elder sister Kate, left L.A. for Australia on Sunday night.
Funeral arrangements remain unknown.
On Friday, the former Dawson's Creek star, 27, broke her silence on the actor's untimely death - saying: "My heart is broken.""I am the mother of the most tender-hearted, high-spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father," she said.
"All that I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day.
"His family and I watch Matilda as she whispers to trees, hugs animals, and takes steps two at a time, and we know that he is with us still.
"She will be brought up in the best memories of him."
