Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant, we all know that - but one person that can't seem to come to terms with the pregnancy is Jamie herself. The 'Zoey 101 star is said to be in denial about the pregnancy - and having severe body-image issues, insiders claim.
It got so bad, the actress' frantic mother, Lynne, jetted across country to be by her daughter's side after she screamed down the phone, "I'm not pregnant!"
The 16-year-old sister of Britney Spears is reportedly in such denial about her condition, she's "trying to go about her life as she always did," says one insider. "She still hangs out until late at night and eats junk food."
Jamie Lynn isn't used to her new fuller figure, and feels enormous, say sources, even though her bump is barely showing.
A male friend joked at a party that she looked sexier with her new curves, and Jamie Lynn snapped back, 'Shut up!' She then turned to another friend and said, 'I hate my body!'" the source tells Star magazine.
Despite temperatures in Kentwood reaching into the 70s, Jamie Lynn has been out wearing bulky sweatshirts.
"Jamie Lynn is having severe bodyimage issues," adds the insider. "For the past few years, she's been this cute little TV star. Now she sees herself ballooning — and she can't handle it."
