Heath Ledger’s autopsy results subpoenaed

Heath LedgerHeath Ledger's autopsy results have been subpoenaed by U.S. Federal officials as part of their investigation into the actor's accidental overdose last month.

The DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) has reportedly issued the New York Medical Examiner's Office with the subpoena as part of their standard procedure when a person, such as Ledger dies from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.

Autopsy results released Wednesday ruled that the 28-year-old actor died from an accidental overdose of six prescription pills, including oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine, a mixture of pain killers and sleeping pills.

DEA spokesman Erin Mulvey said Thursday: "We are working with the New York Police Department to identify any illegally prescribed drugs that may have been prescribed to Ledger."

Ledger was cremated Saturday afternoon in Fremantle, Australia.

Meanwhile, Ledger's former fiance Michelle Williams began shooting scenes for a new movie just days after the tragic star was laid to rest.

She was spotted in New York today filming drama Mammoth.

The set - in trendy SoHo - was just streets from the apartment where Heath died last month.

Williams, 27, was seen shooting inside the Evolution store, which sells exotic bones and medical equipment. Cameras caught her walking by a skeleton.

An insider said: "The mood on set is pretty sombre.

"Everyone respects Michelle's professionalism in going back to work so soon."

An onlooker added: "She looked upset - as though she had a lot on her mind."
