David Beckham is still struggling to make a name for himself in the states if these pictures are anything to go by.

The shot of the footy ace posing half naked on a billboard on the legendary Sunset Strip in Los Angeles may look familiar.

For the saucy ad featuring the former England captain promoting underwear for Armani has been seen in magazines around the world.

But there's one big difference in the U.S. commercial.

Ad men have been forced to put Becks name next to his picture - just in case Americans don't know who is!
