Amy Winehouse steps out of rehab to spend the afternoon with dad

Amy Winehouse RibenaTroubled singer Amy Winehouse appeared to be getting her life back together as she stepped out of rehab for the first time to spend an afternoon with her father Mitch.

Former taxi driver Mitch, 57, was accompanied by his daughter's long-suffering manager who brought the 'Rehab' star Nandos and diet coke.

Although she has spent the past 10 days battling her demons, the troubled diva looked as skinny as ever and almost certainly in need of a good meal.

At the London rehab center where Amy's currently residing, she has been trying to kick her well-documented drug habit.

After watching their daughter and friend decline in recent months, Mitch and Kelly Osborne took Amy from her grotty East London flat to get some help.

The 24-year-old singer - who is expected to perform at this month's Grammy Awards - was caught on video smoking what appeared to be a crack-pipe.

When she decided to go to rehab her management released a statement saying: "Amy decided to enter the facility today after talks with her record label, management, family and doctors," Universal Music Group said in a statement.

"She has come to understand that she requires specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction," the statement said.

When she first checked in, the singer brought two suitcases and two large holdalls, suggesting that she might be staying at the center for quite some time.
